Phosphate ore in a broad sense refers to the general term in the phosphate group of minerals, which is a kind of chemical mineral raw materials. In China, more than 70% of the annual output of phosphate ore is used to make phosphate fertilizers, the remaining 30% or less is used to make yellow phosphorus, phosphoric acid, phosphates and other phosphates. Phosphorus ore is mainly distributed in Africa, North America, South America, Asia and the Middle East, of which more than 80% of phosphorus ore resources are concentrated in Morocco, Western Sahara and China. China's phosphate resource reserves are extremely rich and abundant, phosphate reserves ranked second in the world, second only to Morocco and Western Sahara. As phosphate rock resources are difficult to renewable with a certain degree of scarcity, so China to improve the access threshold of phosphate mining, phosphate mining quantity shows a decreasing trend year by year. 2021 benefited from the new energy and other downstream areas of strong demand for phosphate rock production of 102.9 million tons, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year.
